A brochure 20cm x 20 cm for my home town. It was an amazing project! My town Nykarleby, Finland, is a very happy town, with lots of events that commemorate the great fathers of the town, important influences, artist... The task was to make a map that would be engaging and inviting for the people, that will be informative and attractive at the same time. I did the front page font, making it a handwritten and somewhat naive style. The inside of the brochure is a map and information text, that we had to keep big for elderly people to read it easy. The back is an illustration and some facts about Topelius, logos and thanks. It took some time to make the illustrations of the buildings, then to make the layout so that nothing would be competing with each other, and I think the result is totally worths it!
